Super moon
A super moon happens when the full moon coincides with the moon's closest approach to Earth in its orbit. Super moons make the moon appear a little brighter and closer than normal, although the difference is hard to spot with the naked eye.
The moon's orbit around the Earth is not a perfect circle. It has an average distance of 238,000 miles (382,900 km) from Earth, but its apogee and perigee — the closest and farthest approaches from Earth — change every lunar month. In its circulation around the earth, the distance between the moon and the earth is not the same from time to time because the moon orbits the earth in an ellipse position. So a time of the month can experience in its furthest position from the earth called apogee position and the moon can also experience in nearest position called perigee position. When the moon is full and in Perigee’s position, the moon will appear bigger and lighter, and at that moment the moon is said to be Super moon phase where the surface of the moon will appear 14% larger and 30% brighter in view earth.
To be able to enjoy the phenomenon of Super moon, you have to find a place with minimal lighting. The darker place you visit, the more obvious of the Super moon will look.
